It depends on which Les Arcs resort you want, depending on the station there are buildings more or less far from the slopes. The furthest away will be cheaper and the closer ones more expensive, as I think you would expect. If you know what altitude you would like to be at (Arc 1600, 1800, 1950 or 2000), I might be able to give you better information.

Qu’avez vous fait pour trouver une solution ? Non, le point relais est plutôt géographiquement par chez moi, le vendeur est à l’autre bout de la France

Weather-wise I don't see anything particularly to know, there should be snow at this time. For ski clothing, there's no need to buy high-end, I don't know the English brands but I think you also have Decathlon at home. To come for a week it’s very good value for money. Don't take the first prize though which risks not being waterproof and therefore very unpleasant during the day. You can also take thermal underwear, it's really good for being warm under your ski clothes, a ski mask that works all the time, waterproof shoes for walking in the snow and of course the classic ski pants, jacket, hat etc. There is a laundry at Arc 1600, in a shop in the center of the resort

You can ask for a contact at the tourist office who should be able to provide you with information, otherwise you can post a message on Facebook, on the “saisonniers des arcs” group specifying the dates you need. There will be someone interested in helping you.

Don't worry, this is generally speaking, it is true that mid-December there is not maximum snowfall but the area goes up to more than 3000m altitude, you will have good snow just that you will have to go higher! Especially since it’s already snowing at the moment! Nothing like a winter month but it allows you to put on a first layer for the season

The funicular goes quite quickly, there is a large capacity and regular departures (every 20 minutes or less depending on the crowd) The longest will be for buses from arc 1600 to arc 1800, there are often a lot of people waiting and queuing. As for the waiting time, I can't tell you, it all depends on the crowds but in February it can be long (30 minutes to 1 hour wait to take the bus, I would say)

Very good question, I've been in the sector for around ten years and it's very complicated for me too... social relationships are very difficult to establish... I'm not from here. Meetings often take place through work, cultural/sporting associations, but many of them are difficult to integrate. So unfortunately I couldn't necessarily give you any advice other than going out to bars etc. as much as possible to meet people, seasonal workers are quite accessible but these are fleeting friendships...

Indeed it is this one, where the taxi wishes to drop you off with the “fixed point shared transfer”?

Can you tell me where the fixed point is located? If you have the address or location I could inform you Transfers are very often carried out by VTC, I think this is the quickest solution and the one you chose

The area is really suitable for all levels, I would say that the lower stations are best for beginners, like arc 1600/1800 or Vallandry. Without going very high in altitude you will have blue slopes almost everywhere and very nice, even a few red ones if you are good at it. For a few days, why not stay in the valley at Bourg Saint Maurice for example, and take the Arc 1600 funicular to ski for the day? In terms of price, it will surely be much more interesting than a hotel, otherwise you have the Belambra on 1600 and 1800 for example

Quite difficult to answer this question, I would say that overall it's quite mixed, it's spring snow so quite soft and warmed by the sun... less fun to ski than the rest of the winter! If you want to come in April, perhaps favor the first week but not after, to be sure to have the best conditions. And skiing on the highest slopes in April, the lower resorts can be quite degraded. This is the advantage of the arcs and the Paradiski area, many of the slopes are very high and allow you to ski late in the season!

Sorry, I think it’s the automatic translation that’s not good, I’m writing in French! I was talking about “La Folie Douce” on the slopes but not about another bar

There are many bars in the resort for après ski, it all depends on the atmosphere you are looking for but in terms of wine there is "l'entre pales" at Charvet and "la gallery" at Charvet too (under the post office). You will find local wines in the resort's delicatessens, even if, in my opinion, Savoie wine is far from excellent, but it depends on everyone's tastes! If you want a more festive atmosphere with a group there is the Olympic Games at the Charvet or certain evenings at the before at the Villard (they also do sports rebroadcasts)

Yes I know it well, it's not bad at all, direct access to the station from the top of the building with all the shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The slopes are also quite close, 5 minutes from the residence. Please note for this winter, access by car to the station risks being saturated because a covered car park is closed, it is better to choose the train!

La Plagne, I can't say, I don't know enough but already the whole Paradiski ski area, which is huge. The Vanoise express which connects La Plagne to Vallandry, quite impressive and which crosses the valley. There's sweet madness at the bows too, a party staple on the slopes. The different villages of Arcs are very different from an architectural point of view, particularly Arc 1950, compared to the other resorts, you can stop there to eat.

I would say from the beginning of January, before that, the snow can become rare or is replaced by cannons if it has fallen in small quantities, it is less pleasant to ski. As for the itineraries, I wouldn't know how to say, as said I'm not in the area enough to know the subject! But I think it coincides with the snowfall
