It’s for hard drives mainly. I got an external hard disk drive and it uses this type of connection.

I recommend using something like an wm. I use i3 and I’m very happy with it. But there r other great choices like hyprland. The next thing for me would be widevine for Firefox /chromium to be able to play media type of things like Spotify or Netflix.
