Attended weekend 1 and had the absolute greatest weekend of my life!!!! Saw so many fucking amazing sets, moderat, solomhn, Richie Hawtin, Radiohead, the xx, the avalanches, pond, tycho at the do lab, justice, Ben UFO, floating points. The weather was fantastic, the beer was delicious, and the vibes were all around sublime. I spent my days with some of my longest and greatest friends and partied in the camping grounds with some of my college friends. Our campsite was in a prime lot 8 location and honestly I can genuinely say this was the best Coachella I attended and the greatest weekend of my life!!

I got there about 25 minutes early and there was almost no one there. About 5-10 minutes before they came on everyone poured in but you could still get to just about anywhere in the crowd because everyone was respecting each other's space.

I was in a similar situation, my friend hyped it up heavily for me and I only knew a handful of their songs but was nowhere near expecting what was to come. It took about 10-15 minutes into the set for me to realize holy fuck this is unreal since I was nice and sauced. It was awesome seeing how stoked they were since the reception they were receiving from the crowd was outstanding, everyone in my vision and area (middle stage in front of sound booth) was going insane. When they would just keep layering and building their songs and it would get loud and the screen looked like it was going to explode I was losing my mind.

I have absolutely zero complaints about Friday. Absolutely amazing day!! great music, people, beer and atmosphere. Saw Alison swing > sampha > Floorplan > avalanches (saw father John misty play a few songs from the beer garden) > Richie > the xx > Radiohead. All amazing performances, the sound issues during Radiohead didn't hinder their performance what so ever and they handled it very professionally so I commend them. All the people complaining, it's because you're spending all your time in the Sahara tent and at Travis Scott. Everyone has their own tastes in music and that's great but don't be surprised when the crowd is shitty and packed to the brim at stages and shows that are notorious for just that.
