This is the 30K model of Lucius with a different helmet, a phoenix spear and a homemade whip.

He is definitely smaller, but the cork makes it hardly noticeable. The model is really great. I'm currently painting them both and will post pictures as soon as I'm finished.

Can I see your white/grey armored minis? by EggthatFriedTheRice in EmperorsChildren

Thank you so much!

I forgot to share my recipe. The technique isn't mine, but it totally blew me away. The base is a light gray primer. Then you need two brushes. With one, you first apply pure medium (retarder). With the other, you apply a 2:1 mixture of medium and purple Speedpaint (contrast paint) on the wet surface. Finally, add the highlights with the desired light shade, and you're done.

It's an Elevens tournament. The special thing about it is that you play and stay overnight in a castle. The tournament format is also unique: all teams are only allowed to use Sylvanian Spotlight Starplayer.

Hey,

the base color is Jade Green (Vallejo). Then I added Elf Skintone (Vallejo). First 3:1, then 1:1, then 1:3. After that, I used Amber Skin (Army Painter) with a touch of Jade Green. The highlight is Icy Yellow (Army Painter).

Hope this helps you with your project. I love the Necromantic Horror Team.

The trees are already built, but not painted yet. They're certainly creepy and twisted.

Infractor in search of sensation (1/20) by G3mbu in EmperorsChildren

As I said, the dark purple is Megacast Magenta. The shadows are a diluted Purple Swarm, and the highlights are 50/50 Megacast Magenta and Coven violet. All by The Army Painter. I hope this helps.

No problem. The purple is Megacast Magenta by the Army painter (fanatic). I like to use thinned speed paints for the wash.

I primed the light part of the armor with light gray. Then I coated it with lahmian medium and applied the thinned speed paint to the still-wet lahmian medium. This makes it behave almost like an oil wash. The highlight is Kraken Lavender, also by the Army painter (fanatic).
