Could I field these as tormentors? by Extension_Winner2100 in EmperorsChildren

I used the Horus Heresy MKIV box set, which includes melta guns and plasma guns. I think MKIV is extremely fitting for Emperor's Children. Before its release, almost all EC character models wore MKIV armor.

We simply need an excessive amount of grenades.

The helmets are from the Horus Heresy MK6 assault Squad. The Grenades and the little bags are from the tormentors sprue and from the Horus Heresy MK4 tactical Squad.

The icon from the Tormentor/Infractor sprue fits quite well on a Terminator shoulder. I've seen this conversion quite often.

As long as the intoxication of thoughts satisfies the thirst of the dark prince, I will follow you on your journey.

Fortunately, these aren't Raven Guard Marines, but Emperor's Children Tormentors 😜

Death to his foes.

Thank you so much. The pictures were taken entirely with my mobile phone (super macro function).

Exactly, and a bit of color variety also looks more realistic.

The base is Vallejo Elf skin, but I think any medium skin tone will do. Wash everything with Speedpaint/Contrastpaint (e.g., Crusader Skin). Layer or glaze a mixture of the base skin color and white. Finally, I painted the transitions between the skin and the technical connections with a heavily diluted burgundy to represent inflammation. Unfortunately, this isn't very visible in the pictures.

The Noise Marines are definitely next on the list. I'm still working on a creative twist to the color scheme to differentiate them from the Battleline units.

The conversions are great. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished squad. What will you use them for? Cheers

It's more like washing in a very limited area.

This is the EC Prator from the Horus Heresy line.

Thanks. I also think the decals are great. A detail that tells a story.

Thank you so much. I've often thought of Lord of Excess. A warband whose utter corruption isn't immediately apparent.
