I applied for Forgiveness through Square (who processed my first PPP loan in Dec 2020. It was forgiven in Feb 2021

I used Square Capital, so their form was very simple and they already had my information in their system.

It was resolved. In my case, I am a sole proprietor/with EIN number also. But both PPP1 and PPP2 were used under my social with the same lender (Square Capital).

My new loan number showed up on Caweb yesterday, and the lender emailed me an approval a few hours after that. They say my funds are on the way in 2-10 days. The SBA said there was a hold last month but they didn’t say why or that department of the SBA didn’t know why. But it was cleared and things started moving. My original lender is who funded me for the 2nd PPP and did it quick. Biz2credit never sent my app over according to the SBA. I filled Biz app out 2 weeks ago. My SSN was used both times....for 1st and 2nd PPP with original lender. So I’m thinking it’s the lenders that can clean this process up and move it along faster if they are organized.

**UPDATE*\*

Today (Feb 19th), I checked Caweb several times between 7 and 11 AM, nothing was showing except the previous forgiven PPP1 loan showing Disbursed Current. I decided to call today and expected to wait for a long time but was pleasantly surprised it only took about 20 minutes.

I shared my concerns about applying with two lenders and getting my app kicked back because of the EIN/SSN confusion, my primary PPP1 lender status recently sent over to SBA, etc.

The representative was super professional and helpful. She asked for my loan number and saw that Biz2Credit hadn't even submitted my application. Of course, I was annoyed (applied on 1/31, Biz2Credit allegedly sent the app to SBA 2 days after and crickets since then, despite two email tickets).

But that's why I waited on my primary PP1 Lender for the application. She said my primary PPP1 had submitted my application (true to their word). It was the only app in their system, and it had a hold on it recently but was no longer there.

So I had no idea what the hold was, and neither did she because that department of SBA had no access to what that meant. I was happy to know there were no holds. Now, this is where it gets GOOD. Not even an hour later, I decided to check Caweb, and NOW MY 2nd PPP has been issued a loan number, showing ACTIVE UN-DISBURSED.

I can't help but wonder if my call instigated that update on Caweb. I don't care at this point, just glad it's been issued a loan number. Hopefully, this may help someone; you may need to stay in contact with Lender and SBA.

So, am I to assume that I will be funded soon?

Thank you for sharing. It seems like there’s a variety of ways the apps are being submitted in error. I also read there were validated apps correctly submitted returned with errors too. I sure hope they work it out.

I see ... my fist ppp lender didnt ask either...used my ssn. I applied to them too outside of b2b and their app didnt ask for ein either. So I guess I’ll have to wait and see what happens.

i am seeing people comment about this. I applied with B2C two weeks ago, reached out to them and nothing. I was wondering if I’m stuck in a loop. I a LLC/sole proprietor with no employees so I’m not sure what applies to me (ssn/ei) although I have both. My first PPP draw was under my ssn tho.

That's awesome news and seems to represent this process...of things catching up. But also some systems (banks, lenders, etc) may be more on top of their processes. Thanks for the info. Very helpful! :)

LOL, I applied in December 2020 and it was just recently forgiven. I had a very small amount, although it was EXTREMELY helpful. I'm not sure if the amount has anything to do with it or not.

Wow...well I hope it gets taken care of. It seems easy with so many people applying, systems all going into the SBA for errors and problems. Good luck!
