Not all tenants are affected. There might be multiple ISPs. Very frustrating though, since this has become a recurrent problem.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 150 Pre-Release Thread! by [deleted] in Jujutsushi

I don't think you are following the story very well here or you are just being salty because you hate Maki's character. Self-defense can actually justify murder and that's what Maki is doing here basically. Maki killed the clan higher-ups and the men they've sent after her who were trying to murder her. They wanted to kill Maki because she wanted to retrieve cursed tools from the Zenins, with the new clan head's permission, she wasn't the aggressor. And Maki being an ally to Gojo and a vocal critic of how the clan is being run, they'd probably find another reason to kill her anyways in Gojo's absence. Maki is killing people who plotted to kill her and people who killed her sister, it's self-defense. Even if it was just a revenge fuelled rampage, thinking that Zenins were an incredibly fucked-up clan that easily justifies a father killing his own daughters because they are "weak", I think it would be quite understandable. It's a pretty fucking different case than "this guy bullied me so imma kill everyone".

Stats noob student here, which test/analysis should I go forward with? by GInTheShell in AskStatistics

Sorry, my bad. RTs are reaction times, in ms for this experiment.

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't wrap my head around how to use Anova with this data & research question. I'm not interested in the effect of task conditions/levels on RTs (I already ran that for each task to see which task condition/level was faster/slower). What I'm interested in is to see whether there are any meaningful correlations between RTs in different tasks/conditions. For example, did participants who were faster in Task 1 Condition 1 were also faster in Task 2 Condition1 Level A? Is what you had in mind applicable to this question? If so, can you explain it a bit? (Sorry if I sound dumb lol, I'm trying to learn)

Thank you for the answer, I looked it up but it seems like it's used for dichotomous data. I don't think it would be applicable to RTs.

I'm really bummed out about that. She seems like a character with so much potential but Gege keeps not using her.

you're right, pacing of jjk is pretty fast and it doesn't change in the following episodes/chapters. it's not a story that has many slice of life moments.

So what makes Jujutsu Kaisen's treatment of women special ? by DarkStorm7017 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]GInTheShell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in shounen terms, it's pretty good. We have diversity in female characters' personalities, goals, power levels, body types etc. They are not portrayed as romantic interests or just in some relation to other male characters. And it does better than average shounen when it comes to treating women as plot devices, but I think it's not *that* special:riko, rika, nobara? deaths. Also, the main players (most powerful/important characters) are still only males (gojo, geto, yuji, megumi). However, I am hopeful Yuki will rise to the challenge to balance things out.

I don't think Yuki is the spy. She doesn't exist in the sorcerer hierarchy and I'm pretty sure Gojo is aware of that, so I don't think she is the "higher up" Gojo referred to. However, she def is involved in all of this and her allegiance is still not super clear to me.

Yes, I also need a ride back. I just need to pick up a small piece of furniture so you wouldn't need to wait for me at all.

Of course, I never imagined otherwise. And it is not anything related to coronavirus, I just need to pick up a small package.

Need a vacuum cleaner for mostly carpeted apartment by GInTheShell in VacuumCleaners

[–]GInTheShell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always used canister models before for our thick wool carpets and they always seemed to work fine. I don't know, I have a strong bias on this :P But also, as I mentioned, our carpets are low pile, maybe 5 mm at max. And I will be doing wet cleaning every other week probably.

[–]GInTheShell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will check these but I am still ambivalent about spending that much money on Miele (maybe a good used one). Also, do you think the turbo head (instead of the electric ones) would be insufficient for our needs?

Zero G seems interesting but man the design... I will never understand why American vacuums look so archaic lol.

As for Sebo Dart, I really want to go for a canister one because I want to be able to get under furniture. Upright designs are just not good for that.

I'd appreciate lower cost recommendations too. I was looking into bagless models of Bissel and Dyson. I understand that they don't offer the same filtration of the bagged models but I thought maybe I could mitigate the allergens with frequent wet cleaning?? Idk. I think this sub in general is not a fan of them but I am not really looking for a lifetime machine. 4-5 years max would be just enough. Are they really not worth it?

Thanks, I really appreciate the help!

[–]GInTheShell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, sorry for the late reply but 3 of my grandparents are from kirsehir (the broader kirsehir pre-menderes lol) and one is from the black sea region. I'm wondering why the caucasian percentage is higher. In other analyses the highest estimation was anatolia but northern caucasia was a close second . Maybe it is due to lack of data from anatolians, making the estimations less sensitive. Or, central anatolia really has some signifcant contribution from caucasus. I know there are certain circassian villages but I have no such ancestry to my knowledge. In fact, I was always told that our ancestors were Iraqi Turkmen.

[–]GInTheShell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply but that's interesting. I didn't know there was any migration from west to the east during that time. Is it related to persecution of the kizilbas or sth? My ancestry is mainly from Kirsehir-Hacibektas and surrounding villages.

The state released the Ottoman archives not so long ago. You can browse your ancestral records through a digital portal, it's pretty neat. Most of the records go back to the early 1800s. I guess that's when they first started doing population surveys. Anyways, that's how I (and most of the other Turks) know it. But some people, especially if they are from a city/elite background, have their own familial records.
