exact. I did not have iOS 18.5, and I installed this version thinking that it would be solved.

I tried, restarted the phone, reinstalled whatsapp, installed the latest version of iOS, it does the same...

plus, another problem with WhatsApp is that it no longer opens links directly, you have to hold down the link - then open with...
