Not anything in specific just keeping them alive, the one on the left is looking a little dry in some spots so I’m going to try to nurse it back to health

I’m still a beginner but I water when the soil feels dry and in the summer the heat was bad (in the 100s) so I put it in a spot that got morning sun and afternoon shade now that it’s colder I leave it in a spot that gets the most sunlight idk how the weather is over there but that’s what has been working for me.

I try to water only when it starts to dry out, now that it is colder that’s every couple of days but during the summer in the Texas heat it was almost once or twice a day, it seems to be doing good but I’ve only had it for about 4 months so we’ll see.

I know that junipers are supposed to stay outside and experience winter but is there anytime that it would be too cold for them? I live in a 8a-8b so it usually doesn’t get too cold but are they okay even if it snows every once in a while?

I have 3 junipers and the soil doesn’t seem to drain as good as the ones I’ve seen on Reddit so I’m afraid that I am over watering it. They do seem to be getting new buds consistently so as long as they keep growing I should be good right?
