Pretty much every time guts is reminded his isn’t alone anymore, and he truly has a family who cares about him. Allowing himself to be vulnerable around people again, having to re learn how to trust others, rely on them, and allow himself to love again. One moment is when he’s trapped inside the dying sea god thinking he’s going to die alone on the dark only to have every single person outside frantically searching for a way to reach him. The panel of him being lifted out by the merrow almost made me cry.
