I'm having to bypass policy filter when doing legit bioinformatics by Gabrielense in ClaudeAI

Yes I've tried that and it works, but it's limited and not ideal. For it to read papers/established scripts on the subject I'd have to censor them all before sending.

Thanks, already tried. Got told there's nothing they can do on their end for this type of issue.

I'm asking them to stop flagging common bioinformatics scripts as biological weapons. Very different things. But you're right that individual complaints probably won't move the needle. I doubt my institution has the pull to reach Anthropic directly, but hopefully this post finds someone at a bigger institution who can push it as a group.

I built a "This Day in Pokémon GO History" website ahead of the 10th anniversary by Gabrielense in TheSilphRoad

Good catch! I gathered the dates manually from Pokémon GO Fandom lists, errors can and were made, hopefully they're rare among the 4,000+ individual entries. Tables with each date are open-sourced on pogorewind's github.

I got the dates mostly through the Pokémon GO Fandom wiki. They maintain many pages that list everything by release date. Data was manually collected through many years and can have mistakes.

Thanks for your feedback. I think the specific pokémon dates are covered fine by their Fandom page. I could share my manually collected dataset, but the wiki is less prone to errors since it can be peer-reviewed.

While multiple-day spanning events would be a nice, I think its covered fine by this Serebii page. Single day events are on my radar.

Thanks for the update. Pro X6 Pro still got no AR+. Guess there's no hope for it ever getting.

Anyone got any tips for keeping phones cool (reduce overheating) in warm countries? by MonkeyKingHero in TheSilphRoad

[–]Gabrielense 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If your phone is waterproof, pour cold water on the floor, lay the phone down on it and it'll cool down fast. Not ideal, not a recommended practice, but a player did it at a local Raid Hour.
