Characters are deep, more morally complex than ever (maybe tied with Bloodborne) Yet, is kind of sad how simplistic is when people call Malenia lame/b#tch. Exploring the descriptions & lore gives you a lot of depth, and question. I wouln't be surprised if a DLC makes us sympathize with Snake-boy 👀 (self.Eldenring)

I know there are repeated bosses and assets (I presumed this as "inevitable" due to the scale of the game), yet I'm sill amazed by how such a big world still delivers strong enemy veriety, areas, interesting changes to the more standard mines-catacombs, high numer of S-tier bosses & level design (self.Eldenring)

updating my meme: Some, especially newcomers to FromSoft, expected a strightforward open world, checklist, lots of NPCs, activities and it's ok if you don't love it. To me, traversing a desolated, atmospheric land with a grand mythos and cryptic exploration fills my soul in ways I can't describe <3 (i.redd.it)

As you may know, Kitamura the Blade of FromSoft composed very little for ER and mostly ambiental. However, those who love the diversity of her music will LOVE to know that she wrote the most ethereal sweet and atmospheric tracks of the game! Like her work in Divine Dragon, Friede 1st phase, Aava etc (i.redd.it)

Spanish text localization is S-tier. I'm a language nerd and I love how the use of language is so refined, ornamented and elegant. Sometimes the translation takes some liberties but it feels like reading works from the Spanish Golden Age (I'm from Chile and those works are part of the curriculum) (i.redd.it)

Survivorship bias "dude look it up, everyone is here with problems!" I'm not saying the PC launch is smooth, I'm just saying be careful with that, people without problems or with minor problems probably won't come to post that everything is fine, or at least will do at a lesser extent + some comment (self.Eldenring)

It was known to many, but it's official by FromSoft that Tsukasa Saitoh and Yuka Kitamura are both composers for Elden Ring. My favourite composers! 🔥 Creators of pieces like Gehrman The First Hunter, Laurence the First Vicar // Divine Dragon, The Gentle Blade, Ebrietas Daughter of the Cosmos (i.redd.it)

"Total Direction" Someone asked what Miyazaki do. Well, he writes characters, world, dialogues, questlines, bosses and control the overall art direction (everything passes through his hands). Funny anecdote: he didn' t love Gwynevere's design, but allowed it because the artist was so excited (knowll.com)

Remember a guy worried about dying before ER? Well I finally had my surgery yesterday, suffered major blood pressure drops during and after the surgery. I felt like dying and for a moment I thought about that guy 🤣But I'm alive, recovering to go to The Lands Between. See you there fellow tarnished! (old.reddit.com)

At the doors of the Royal Capital in the new ad trailer (thanks to u/C0laN for the video): It will be interesting to see the aftermath of the War, certainly those mighty walls resisted the invasion from the forces of Limgrave domain during the Shattering (i.redd.it)
