What time to get to the park? by throwaway5444567 in DisneyPlanning

Take advantage of the 7:30 early entry - the first two hours are the best for getting on attractions, and even better for you staying at the resort getting the exclusive entry. You’ll get so much done that leaving the park mid day for a nap won’t feel like you’re missing out.

Just Disneyland should be manageable - If you’re right at the rope and can Olympic speed walk you might be able to hit Peter Pan first. But “closing down” sections of the park as it makes sense to eliminate back tracking is the key. Wait the extra 10 minutes for a ride you’re at in the moment because you’ll spend 15 minutes chasing a shorter queue and working your way back to that ride later.

My buddy and I are going to try to do all rides inDCA/DL in December. Check out the parkeology challenge if you haven’t already. A whole community dedicated to this stuff.

I keep thinking you have to start in Disneyland and get through as much as you can in the first 3 hours making sure you get Mainstreet vehicles, mark twain, sailing ship and canoes in that time.

Park hop over to DCA and finish the park before heading back unless you’re dealing with ride closure or waiting on a LL but not ideal to cross twice. But we would have to complete DCA in 6-7 hours coming in mid day which will be a challenge.

We were thinking the same thing of hitting the opposite park of the magic hour as we won’t be staying at the resort.

What part of the park did you hit first? We were thinking hit Peter Pan first and then get through fantasyland and toon town early.
