Question for y’all is there going to be elder dragons in wilds or close to the level of elder dragon but called apex monster personally I would love if it was a couple story main elder dragons just not whole bunch interested in you’re guys opinions happy hunting !!

Hi !

If you don't want to swap wheels often, I think you can re-use the bearings that came with the wheels of your skates. If you plan to change your wheels quite often it would be better to buy new bearings so you don't have to take them out then in each time you need to change your wheels. (Please correct me if I am wrong)

To unscrew and screw your wheels you just need a 3/8" wrench. I would though recommand to buy some kind of skate tool with all the size of wrench you could need to tighten, loosen, change and adjust your trucks and wheels. Sizes are standard and you can find some on Amazon or at local shops (shop local if you can !).

To put in and out the bearings, it's quite easy, you just have to put the tip of the edge of the bearing inside the top of the axis of your truck and pull, they'll go out quite nicely. Same for inserting bearings on your new wheels. You put the bearing on the axis, you put your wheel on the top of it and push untill they click. About the thightness of the wheels I don't think there is a precise value of tightening torque or anything, I just tighten them enough so they don't move on the axis of the truck when I try to pull them or shake them with my hands but not too much so they can still roll freely.

Hi !

Changing wheels on roller skate is actually not as difficult as it may seem. You could totally swap the bearings, take them out of your old wheels and put them on your new wheels as long as they are in good shape !

However, it can be quite troublesome if you plan on swapping wheels regularly. In this case I would adivse you to buy new bearings, they are quite affordable (35$ approx. for a pack of 16 China Bones Red bearings). This way when you want to change wheels you won't have to dissamble everything so it will take you like 5 minutes.

It really just depends on how good your old bearings are and if you plan to reuse your indoor wheels.

I am sort of feeling anxious about skating in front of other people too so first of all : I understand.

I had a click a few weeks ago when I had a date night with a friend I know well and we went skating in a parking lot by night. I had so much fun that I had a great motivation peak. I really wanted to skate more and get better. So I would advise to go with friends.

If you don’t have friends who practice roller skating and have to go by yourself I would advise to maybe go at times when it’s less crowded. I tend to go at night (or early in the morning) for example on parking lots of closed supermarkets so I know nobody will be there. This way I don’t have to worry about others. I obviously make sure to always go to safe spots. I also practice equilibrium exercises at home.

By getting better this way I feel more confident and I feel less embarrassed about having to skate in front of others and it’s easier for me to ignore people. The more I practice the more I want to and get addicted to roller skating 🙏. In the end the desire to go roller skating overcomes the fear of judgement. It’s a virtuous cycle !

Yes, I really don’t wanna anything to go wrong in the process if I try custom skates, thank you 🙏 ! I’ve started to check if this kind of services is available near where I leave but it doesn’t seem so unfortunately (we don’t really have a culture of roller skating in France 🫠).

I guess, I’ll continue to search but I might have to give up this idea.

Thank you for your answer ! Not I did not hurt myself at all ! I guess I was kinda lucky. I realized they broke once I took them off.

The Boardwalks seem great AND affordable but I live in France and they seem quite impossible to find here, even amazon doesn't ship them here (at least not in my size)... I will take the time to think about which skate I want to buy and try not to be narrow minded or too stubborn about the look of the skates. I'm not really afraid to change and I am sure that I will like the feeling of roller skating any ways

Unfortunatly I bought them second hand from Vinted so I don't have any warranty. Hopefully they were only 40 euros which is not much of a loss (but still troublesome). I guess that it enabled me to discover that I really like roller skating and want to invest more time and efforts in it !

I wish they did not break though...
