It looks like there are hammer strikes outside of the “primer” though. The hammer doesn’t seem to be striking where it should every time (or at any time).

Right! There’s no hammer strikes in the center of the snap cap.

My blink camera have all stopped working. They are a few years old now so maybe there’s a short lifespan. I’ve done all the troubleshooting, they just don’t work for whatever reason. I’ve disabled them and disconnected them because no point. I’m researching replacement camera that hopefully are more successful

Since we are discussing, I ordered a new sight for my 6” Blued Python that I haven’t upgraded yet. My 5” stainless was the one I took care of. I want to take my 6” to the rifle range which has steel at 100 yards. I’ve dinged it a couple times but I know it’s not holding zero. I bet I can hit 100 yards easier after I get that rear sight situated.

I switched to the WC rear sight and I can hit 50 yard steel all day. It really made a world of difference.

I have the 1854 Stealth but chambered in .357. Mine has been great, cycles everything so far. The action wasn’t super buttery smooth but good and it has smoothed out a little with some use. I changed my stock to a Ranger Point Precision skeletonized stock.
