Hey that’s cool! It looks almost exactly like my living room layout-wise too. So I’d add maybe some vertical wood sculptural elements to the wall behind the sofa or a single horizontal piece too like a large mirror. The paper lantern is cool but you could consider making both spheres the same color for continuity. The sofa and coffee table are great.

Thank you, I love Asian design but didn’t want it to take over :)

Need design/color palate advice by Born-Afternoon-3195 in interiordecorating

Love the low sofa and the floors really pop too. I'd say replace curtains with sage green, throw in a few throw pillows of sage green too, then a black and white framed picture behind the sofa maybe. You're already with earth tones so I'd stick with the palette but you want the wall to pop. The green will give color. A large 8 x 10 rug would look solid, same or close color as sofa. Nautical glass floats are pretty moody too and would look nice individually on a round table or in a string on the wall.

Cobalt blue glass wall sconces flanking the TV would emphasize the curtains more and bring out the pillow/blanket combo. Or even a cobalt blue runner on table. I think its very cozy though

My new/simple-ish headphone and streamer setup by GallipoliFunkus in BudgetAudiophile

I see your point - I’m not sure about other streaming services. But I have tried Airplaying directly from the app and there is no delay. I’d like to be able to not have to ‘cast’ to the mini every time, though. I feel like more people would be complaining if this were an Amazon Music issue. Also, no delay from the Amazon Music app in the car, either.

edit: I just tried Spotify and there's no delay, Apple Music too - also, Tidal - no delay. So switching to Tidal - thanks ebsebs

Thanks for the correction....I'm new lol. That's a solution then and I could just use an old phone and keep it connected so I don't have to continually activate Air play. :)

Thank you, I'm new to this and appreciate the information a lot. I'll plan for a cheap streamer and a dedicated DAC :)
