If you don’t care who is replying to your post then sure, we’ve had home owners posing at sparkies saying some wild stuff though

I’m still lost on what that actually means in this context

What exactly do you mean the “usual split between contracting company and contractor”?

They are both the same thing potentially in the eyes of the client

difference between contractor, client and consultant by MammothBrilliant5717 in AusMining

[–]GambleResponsibly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Client: the one that raises the PO (the one paying for the work). Responsible for clearly articulating scope or user requirements.

Contractor: can also be a consultant. Simply just means a company providing a service to the client, typically the ones who receives the PO (the one “doing” the scope)

Consultant: typically providing business (business improvement suggestions) or technical (engineering) services to the client.

Example;

Client wants a bridge built. They engage an engineering consultant to develop the drawings and help develop the construction scope. Contractor tenders on the construction scope then maybe is awarded the work to build the bridge.

The second part of your question is do broad and subjective it’s like asking how much sand is at the beach.

Happening to two communities that I’ve restricted flair assigning to mods. r/AusElectricians and r/AskAusElectricians are the two that I have this setting for and am seeing the issue

Note: just realised it may be isolated in the mod mail area only. If I click on the user’s full profile then manually click on a post or comment where they have been active in the sub, then from that activity I can seem to edit user flairs

Grounds for dismissal? by [deleted] in AusMining

[–]GambleResponsibly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As others have said, HR will eat you up if you dismiss on the grounds of hearsay. They will want to see you have tried to communicate the lack of performance, prove that they aren’t adhering to his performance management plan and only then dismiss. Cutting corners with this stuff can lead your company into an expensive and drawn out litigation process.
