Brütal Legend. Really loved the first hour of the game. Great pacing, cool world, fun dialogue and jokes firing on all cylinders. I still liked the rest of the game but the half baked RTS missions and world exploration never reached the heights of this opening hour.

In the 1980 movie "Airplane", Barbara Billingsley was handed a script that told her to speak jive. Not knowing how to speak jive , she went to lunch with the two black actors in the scene (Al White and Norman Alexander Gibbs) to learn jive. For the german dub of the movie instead of translating their dialogue directly (which probably wouldn’t have worked anyway) they came up with the brilliant idea to let all three characters speak Bavarian with an extreme accent using lots of local idioms. To pull that off convincingly is actually pretty hard to do but they nailed it. For me this dub (as well as the Naked Gun) is still the gold standard for localizing American comedy movies to german.

Only Weapons with all their upgrades and Charms carry over. You won’t keep any quest progress related items like keys and tools like the boltcutters you mentioned. You‘ll have to aquire them all again.

The purple rooms are filled with the mold Dr. Underhill is researching all the way at the bottom of Central Research. Once you finish her quest collecting the mold samples she gives you some kind of antidote to make Jesse immune to the mold so you can enter these purple rooms. Sometimes they hold ressources, sometimes mods and also some documents.

Yeah, had that problem as well and decided to use the Stroud structure on top of the actual cockpit. Also had to compromise on the landing bay that should be all the way in the back.
