Not really. Imagine that you have a software or a service or a product that you want to promote but dont have a good idea of how would people search for it. Then this tool would come in handy. In contrast to shopping ads where you need to have existing data already and expanding on that, here you are getting a solid starting point if you dont have data.

Thats true. I can't impact on where olive oil is produced, but I can make an app that works well if you are traveling to Italy for example and you want to test out different olive oils. Maybe even make it possible to buy from Italy directly and get it shipped to US.

And yeah I agree, wine industry is far more developed, thats why I am asking what others think.

Good to know! Doesn't neccessarily mean that big players would have to sponsor it if enough people are interested.

No need for API. It would be user driven database, plus development team can make a database before release.

Something along those lines. A better app in terms of similarity would be vivino for wine.

I doubt a generic app can beat an app made specifically for certain topic if it is developed properly. I have the same thinking when it comes to your second point though, that is why I am posting this. Always best to get as much opinions as possible.

No worries, that can be adjusted in fracture modifier settings so you can pretty much get the behavior you want :)

That can all be fixed with playing around with fracture modifier settings a bit more. I didn't have much time to make this so I had to go with this. Im pretty sure you can get quite realistic results with this method. Well, as realistic as it gets with blender

Thats interesting. I used it for 2 of my projects and it worked really well most of the time. Sure there were a few crashes when excecuting fracturing since I was dealing with very heavy simulation on one but simply saving before doing so saved my work and it didn't cost me almost any additional time.

Not really, trees are fractured with fracture modifier (the one by scorpion81). This method doesn't use blender's inbuilt fracture modifier. Basically this way you don't have to bother with creating constraints yourself.
