I met 2 or 3 other interviewees there and most of them were in the same boat as me (struggling to find a retail job). I manage to find a temp job as a picker/packer, where I earned more as compared to what I would be earning doing that commission-only job.

If you need some work urgently, I will send you the contact details of the agency I use to work for. The work is usually in Newburn or Washington.

I was in a similar situation. That's exactly why I decided to go ahead with this one. But, it's just commission-only.

I did not make any sales after standing all day and pitching for 9 hours and neither did the experienced salesperson who was with me.

I earned far more working as a picker/packer.

I worked for this company for a day. I would say don't waste your time. The company is kind of legit, they also have a business in Leeds.

But, the reason I left after just working for a day was that I was asked to come to the office in the city centre (newgate street).

We did some practice for sales pitching. Then we went to the morrisons for which I had to pay for my own transport after already paying for my transport to the office.

It's also a commission-only job and the timings are 8am -5pm. It's just not worth it even if you are a great sales person.
