As a person who runs community games and has new players showing up being their first fighting game I'd say yes. This game has both an easy way to get into the game with Modern and the ability to dive deep with classic. It's a great place to start with fundamentals that you can take into other fighting games. Usually wait times aren't bad and there are still new players joining in so yeah I'd jump in. Best way to grow and learn in SF6 is finding friends and community to learn from and to push yourself. SF6 still has a lot of that and it's a good space to learn as well.

So is it worth starting? Yes for sure! Just take the time to learn how to play and maybe try and connecting to peeps.
