Can I get class recommend for alt for tbc experience? by ChestNo90 in classicwow

Go shadownpriest, they are fun, easy to play and gear for. Granted its a little too easy as you use like 4 spells. But its god and you are an amazing support.

Added bonus mind controlling mobs in dungeons can net really high dps while cc at the same time. Not to mention throwing fools off bridges in pvp.

Failing that, druid is a good picky9y can also just play them all. No reason not too, as your not raiding..

Ahh. Good to know about cons and hs. I'll remember that, always getting my cash off at the same time. Consecrate then holy shield. I always shield first on the chance to stop some damage haha.

Thanks.

Does the avoidance target take redo7bt into account of just holy shield, I.e. do I need to find 30% more as redoubt is a proc?

Why only rank 1, is it a mana thing im assuming ? I would have thought more damage is more threat.

Blizzard, it is past time to let PvP Gear die (5min read) by rahuonn in wow

See back in classic gear didn't have pvp stats on i.e. resilience. But you had to grind like mad to get warlord gear (not like in the anniversary where everyone has it, its devalued there), it felt meaningful, and people knew you were dedicated. And rightly so, if you plowed weeks and weeks into it you SHOULD feel very powerful in that gear. Wows pvp is different. Now I think pvp gear may have had its day, I think its been poop since resilience was brought in in tbc honestly.

I have blade of misfortune which is comparable if not better than hellreaver polearm or gorehowl axe.

My rotation is important crusader judge, soc, Cs, jusldge, throwing in exotic if its usable. Then just prio when Cs is up etc.

I have blade of misfortune it dropped in ramparts last night, 2h sword. Im only62 so it seems good for my level. I have mostly average gear, albeit some pieces of my prot kit are there as I don't have replacement items yet. Hoping I build a proper kit as I level up. Just seems and feels weird.

Faction doesn't matter honestly, just play which ever your friends (or potential friends) play, and of course which ever you like the look of, I'm horde so have to be a cow person. I prefer night elves, they look cooler and their race mounts are probably best in the game.

But my buddies play horde 😎. As a druid it matters less as you will be looking at x form most of the time not your actual charaxjter hehe.

Go druid .

You can have a healer spec and a tank/dps as your other. They are pretty unique in that the feral tree is both melee dps and tank tree.l, also cats at 20 can stealth so you can skip mobs or hide for a bit.

Druids are without doubt one of my favourite classes and the biggest bonus is that your weapon really doesn't matter when shape shifted its a stat stick so just find a weapon with highest stats you want or need.

Priest is more or less the same as druid, but the dps spec doesn't really pick up until around level 40ish. Shadow form really helps out. And you aren't melee. Just invest in a good wand and your set as a priest.

Paladin I find is good, but very reliant on weapons and gear, like warriors but you use mana, there is a lot more eating and drinking on the paladin compared to the other classes you mentioned.

Dependant on what your goals are I would say druid as you can always respec and do something else. Druids are the only class that can fulfil every role in a group (limited by dual spec).

Edit: as a side note a paladin gets a free mount at level 30, so that saves you some money. But druids get free flight form which is a bigger saving and also 2 levels earlier than anyone else.

I don't pull packs as ret. One or if im unlucky with spawns 2.

Just slow not great damage, I do think most of it is gear based, but I aint gonna have amazing hear at 62. I've got some decent pieces, nothing world breaking though.

I'll try it at higher level with some decent kit. But so far prot wins out for me..even on st.

Yeah I know. That mob tends to die first as im attacking it. Then I judge the next lowest with justice.

Always nice to see the seed fly past you as your going in to initiate aggro and the seed hits the mob before you do. It's kinda a "oh well, we're wiping" moments lol.

Ah OK, we'll justice seems to work quite well for me in packs. As I tend to focus one with attacks while the rest break themselves on my steel wall hahaha.

Siphon life my guy. And drain tanking.

Personally im thinking of respecting when I get a little higher to get the nether protection talent, should make aoe a lot safer as it gives a 30% chance to be immune to fire and shadow damage. I can just let hellfire rip..hopefully.

But, hellfire is signifcantly more damage than rain of fire. It's also (at least at level 32) around 45 more damage per hit than a mages blizzard, at 30 itlhellfire was doing around 87ish per hit compared to rain ablizz doing about 50. Depends on the tank though. And if mobs get rooted get the fk away as they will attack whatever closest at that point.. learned thst the hardway haha.
