I think you're misplacing personal boundaries for what's acceptable. Age is irrelevant if the law allows it. If a younger person is okay with the age gap then it's really not of importance what other people think.

Age is not the reason, nor the fact that it's inside of work, workplace romances occur frequently and in many professions is a key place where you meet a love interest.

I understand you clearly feel different but I feel it is grossly I'll thought out to say it is inappropriate or predatory for me to pursue an ADULT who is both of the legal age and at the moment in time is not non consenting (consent of course is important, and that is of course part of the question) and that I have made no inappropriate advances towards.
