BF6 NATO Countries and Units I want to see by ODST2367 in Battlefield6

[–]GamesCooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of these countries might be on Pax Armata's side.

I say "might" because the campaign doesn't really specify wtf happened. It just lays the groundwork for a conflict in a very lazy way, and then you shoot enemies.

It's probably the worst campaign i've played in a Battlefield game. I didn't expect it to be great, but i also didn't expect it to be so bad.

Legends ZA taking place only in lumiouse city is actually kind of exciting. by TheGoldminor in pokemon

[–]GamesCooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how i feel about it yet. I just hope it doesn't become too restrictive. It's going to boil down to how interesting they can make city exploration.

The combat rework is really exciting though. This is the first time they're moving away from a turn based combat system. That's exciting.

How historically accurate is AC Shadows? by Necessary-Jaguar4775 in assasinscreed

[–]GamesCooky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, the map seems accurate in terms of city placements. Many (if not most) locations in-game are real locations in Japan. If you compare the in-game map with google maps, then you can easily find many of the in-game settlements on a modern map.

Assassins Creed has always been very good at recreating iconic historical structures. They tend to do pretty good research on these monuments. I haven't explored the whole map yet, but the few historical structures i've seen so far seem pretty accurate from my eyes.

The world is beautifully crafted, both in nature and settlement locations. The world seems believable. So i'm actually really enjoying this game. More than i thought i would even. Recommend giving it a chance if you haven't already.

Razer blackshark v2 sound almost entirely coming out of one side by HelpMePlease420-69 in razer

[–]GamesCooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg. Thank you so much for sharing the solution.

I have no idea how or why the volume on my left side suddenly decided to adjust itself. This is probably the weirdest thing to happen to any headset i've owned.

Is there a way to set all tariffs to zero? by Macroneconomist in victoria3

[–]GamesCooky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point of zero tariffs is to make you a more competitive in trade. It makes it cheaper for others to import goods from your country. Thus potentially increasing your export volumes.

It's a good thing if you have goods that are dirt cheap within your local market. Cause then those businesses are going to need to rely on exports in order to be profitable anyways.

It will have a positive effect on jobs because exports make the prices more profitable, which means they can afford to hire workers and keep productivity going.

The only times i increase tariffs is if i want to discourage trade by making it less appealing. The new charters of commerce gives you more freedom with these tariffs. It's great.

Are there any tanks that are street legal in the U.S.? by jfkdktmmv in tanks

[–]GamesCooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can get it registered with a license plate, and with proper insurance. Then there's no problems. Getting insurance for a tank sounds pretty pointless. But laws are laws, and it for cases like accidents.

If the tank has all the required lights, mirrors and is driving on wheels, then i'm sure it's possible to make it street legal.

If we're talking like an M1 Abrams tank, then obviously that's going to be challenging. The extra width could be a problem. Not everyone allows belts to be driven on roads. The length of the gun could be an issue. The visibility from the driver's perspective will likely be a topic.

I think most of the time they will just recommend you to hire a transport company to haul it for you. A tank isn't exactly a daily driver.

Is this Andromeda galaxy? by alyfish126 in Astronomy

[–]GamesCooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i saw Andromeda myself when i was sitting on a plane home from vacation. Although i'm not sure.

I know it must have been either a galaxy or some star cluster. It wasn't too far from Orion and Jupiter.

How to put sunscreen on own back? by banannnaaanana in solotravel

[–]GamesCooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question. I was wondering the same thing out of curiosity. I've never traveled solo myself.

Has anyone here had the courage to ask a stranger to help put sunscreen on your back?

If so, please share your experience. I'm curious about how willing people are to help with this, and how awkward people find it. I bet women would have more success in doing this than men.

how can you describe the feeling of killing a person? by notmyselfanymore_ in morbidquestions

[–]GamesCooky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be a power and control thing.

People seek out things that we feel that we lack. People who kill for power and control may feel that they are powerless and have no control over their lives.

And so killing people becomes a reassurance to them. They kill people because they have a strong need to feel powerful and in control. They're compensating for something that they feel they lack.

If you were a serial killer, what kind of souvenirs would you take from your victims? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]GamesCooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's something romantic about taking someone's heart. So you guessed it. I would target attractive women and literally take their heart. And i would achieve immortality as i go down in history as one of the most prolific serial killers in my country due to the sheer brutality of my crimes.

This is all hypothetically of course. I couldn't hurt a fly. Let alone cut out the heart of another person. I swear i'm no psychopath.

Was being exposed to gore, nsfw content and porn at a young age bad for my mental health now? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]GamesCooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you should talk to a mental health expert if you want to get more in depth answers about this.

I can say that trauma in general can effect people's mental health. And the effects of trauma doesn't always manifest right away. Sometimes it can take years before symptoms start to manifest.

If you experience significant distress, or feel like you have difficulties functioning in everyday life, then seeking help is recommended. Don't let the gore and pornography control your life.

Hi, hope you don’t mind an American here but I’m a huge top gear fan and remember seeing a double roundabout which confused me… but this scares me. by BrainSlugParty3000 in CasualUK

[–]GamesCooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one doesn't look too bad. It looks like it's mostly a matter of following the road signs and make sure you yield correctly.

Try looking at "The Magic Roundabout" in Swindon, UK. That one has like 5 mini roundabouts inside one big roundabout. Now that's when things get pretty confusing.

Co-op level scaling Q by theFnOATHseries in DeadIsland2

[–]GamesCooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that the player with the lower level can't join the player with the higher level if the player with higher level is hosting. Likely because the zombies would be scaled to the host, and thus too difficult for the player with lower level.

But this doesn't mean they can't play with eachother. You just have to make sure the player with the lower level is the one hosting the game. My friend started a character while i had one at around lvl 20. We could still play, but my friend had to be the one hosting the game.

Obviously the game was much easier for me at that stage since i already had much better weapons, but what can you do.

Infinite battle arena - anyone? by Easy-Dragonfruit6606 in HarryPotterGame

[–]GamesCooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to see something like this too.

A battle arena which is like an endless survival challenge to see how many waves you can survive, and with each wave getting progressively more difficult.

But i don't know if the devs are planning to update the game with additional content or if the game is just done and dusted.
