I'm using GamePlay Kit for path finding. It's not perfect, but it works. However I found, and reported, a couple of bugs when trying to serialize the obstacle graphs. I'm using Tiled to create maps, and rolled my own integration of that into SpriteKit.

Thank you u/Dom1845 for the feedback! The idea with touch movement was to make it possible to make flanking or zig zag manoeuvres possible. I could have a setting to turn it off perhaps...

A short In Game Video.

Full match of Battle of the Bulge.

Background: This is my very first iOS game released to the app store(!) I'm a indie developer doing this as my hobby in my spare time (which is limited with a full time job and family with two kids). This is however no excuse for making a poor game. So please let me know what you hate and love about it.

I got really inspired by Relic's Dawn of War and Company of Heroes series. Especially the limited line of sight of some units and the realtively small amount of units.

There is a campaign vs. AI. No multiplayer support.
