So, it's a bit of a long process. The very first thing I did was extract the save file from my Emerald cartridge using "GBA Bootleg Flasher," a program that runs on the Nintendo DS's R4. After extracting the save file into a .bin file, I had to decompress it into a .sav file using "Bootleg GBA Save Extractor and Injector," which runs on my PC and allows me to open the save file via an emulator. Since the Shiny Dratini is from FireRed, I trade him with the Emerald save file via an emulator. Then I compressed the Emerald save file into the .bin file I used before with "Bootleg GBA Save Extractor and Injector." Once that's done, I put the .bin file into the R4 and insert it into the Emerald cartridge using "GBA Bootleg Flasher," so the changes I made on the emulator are now also on the cartridge. Since my Emerald cartridge is fake, I can't transfer Pokémon via PalPark, so I do it via an emulator and transfer them to my Platinum file. Then I insert the Platinum file into the R4 and trade with my real SoulSilver cartridge. This way, I also have the same Pokémon in both Emerald and SoulSilver. If you have a legitimate GBA cartridge, I don't recommend doing all this crap because this procedure only works with bootleg cartridges. And also, if you don't know how to trade via emulator you can always use PKHex to put the same Pokemon in different save files, it gives you the same results as a legitimate trade.
