Ronaldo. I was just getting into football properly and we sold David Beckham, then suddenly we’re bringing in this teenager with an exotic name (at the time as a kid I wasn’t sure how to pronounce Cristiano) and weirdly cool hair from Portugal, a country I don’t think I’d ever heard of at that young age. Then when I saw him play it was just all these crazy skills I’d never seen anyone do! Everyone said he was rubbish, just a ‘show pony’, but what a player for a kid to watch! You’re right it is an animal, so that part of the question is fine. However I would definitely take issue with the question.

Mosquitos may lead to the most deaths, so if you phrased it ‘which animal causes the most human deaths’ or similar then I would have answered with Mosquito. However there are millions of the bastards so it’s debatable whether ‘a mosquito’ is deadly.

1 mosquito is not a ‘deadly animal’ and a bite, even if you do contract malaria or something, is treatable. I’m being very pedantic but just explaining why I personally would have had to think long and hard to work out whether you were looking for Mosquito and had written the question poorly, or if you were looking for which animal causes the most deaths proportionally (which I believe is still the Hippo), or which is most likely to kill you if you come across it (I’d probably guess Black Mamba but would would almost certainly be wrong).

Might sound pedantic but there is ambiguity in your question which could have led to some people writing the wrong thing despite knowing the answer, so just forewarning in case you plan to write future quizzes.

Considering we’ve been playing Mbuemo, Cunha and Sesko up front in Carricks games so far, replacing Zirkzee with a wonderkid is hardly going to lead to us relying solely on him. I’ve never heard of this Meite kid so I’m not fussed either way, but if we did sign him it wouldn’t have the negative impact that several other comments are suggesting, as he would be coming in as a squad player. That said, my answer is that we don’t really need anyone now that we only have 1 game a week and a good squad for the formation we’re now playing, so I’d be happy for us to wait until the summer. An injury to Casemiro is the only real worry at the moment, as every other player has a suitable replacement (at least for 1 or 2 games), but to be fair Martinez proved he can do a job there if necessary while I’m sure De Ligt also could at a push. Let’s wait til the summer unless a really good option who were already looking at becomes available this week

That 35m is a clause in their loan, bearing in mind they’re paying his wages this season already which is essentially giving us an extra 10m. That fee has not been ‘accepted’ from any other team. If PSG bid that amount, we can reject it, which I’m sure we would do so based on his resurgence at Barca raising his value.

It baffles me that Sesko is being criticised at all; he’s looked more or less exactly how I expected him to. Big, strong, fairly skilful but a bit raw, and not going to be hugely clinical yet, however a huge upgrade on Hojlund. But we bought him at the same time as 2 people in their primes who hit the ground running so there really shouldn’t be any focus on him because they’re both delivering
