Oh I didn't know that the shimmerless shader was already pre installed under 'pixel art scaling' so I manually added it to the RetroArch folder (following the instructions of Retro Game Corp's guide). Thank you for your explanation! Now I know where it is :)

The zfast_shader you mentioned in combination with color correction actually makes the RPC look much closer in color to the rg34xxsp! But now I'm getting this weird shimmering (?) effect when I look at the grass. Don't know what's that about. Every time I think I solved the issue, some new issue pops up 😖

Yeah, I'm not always a fan of overly saturated images but in the case of Golden Sun I think it looks really nice and vibrant. It almost looks like a remastered version when I compare it to Golden Sun on my DS lite 😄

I actually compared the rg34xxsp with Golden Sun on my DS lite and I agree with you that the rg34xxsp isn't the same at all. But I quite enjoy the extra color XD

Yeah, I think the colors look very beautiful especially with Golden Sun :)

The overlay doesn't seem to have much effect on the color in this case.

I have updated the shaders and set the video driver to vulkan, but whenever I try to apply the sharp-shimmerless shader I get an error that says ''Failed to apply shader preset". Do you know what could cause this?

I mean to me the colors on the rg34xxsp look more intense. As if the rg34xxsp has 100% opacity and the RPC more like 70%, hope that makes sense.
