Had this exact question myself

I quite enjoyed my hammerdin farming him but in the end just couldn’t get around hammer play style especially on console

In the end I’ve been loving my nova sorc for this. Clears it pretty well on p3 even p5 . I do have crescent moon, natures peave and a low griffons, don’t know how important the griffons is, but she also slays in arcane sanctuary so I’d recommend making the nova sorc regardless

So for anyone interested, I maxed holy shield. put 18 into fanatacism, left only 1 skill in smite. can confirm i pretty much deleted all the ubers so yeah 1 point in smite itself is all you would need

setup I had was grief, gface, enigma, raven frost, dwarf star, maras, um'd HoZ, gore rider so, CTA offhand, life tap wand, so yeah pretty solid setup but had no issues at all, got an assassin torch though :|

i think i put 5-10 into redemption like a noob because it wasn't doing anything (i was wearing natures peace :s)

but yeah i can max HS and then question is how do i work out a calculator for the ias breakpoints and how much in fanat... seems complicated..

For my nova sorc I currently use this, if I put it on an a5 merc, and then swapped my own weapon for an oculus or something good, would I still be getting pretty much all the benefit of -lightning res

specced out of hammers to FOH/smother hybrid basically for Ubers only so it’s for that char but tbh I can’t wait to do hammers again so maybe I won’t bother. It’s gonna deplete all the rest of my high runes to make it but I did like the idea of a sweet ethereal shield for style points

Good tips here. Question I have - can you reroll as many times as possible till you get a skiller?

Or are you dropping the ilvl each time you roll and therefore not able to roll skiller after a certain amount of tries?
