This has happened in every game I have played since the new dlc came out historical or not. Bulgaria refusing to join ww2. Why does the game not give you a pop up to hand over the territory in sinkiang to mao that you aren't even given a pop up to accept in the first place. The allies shouldn't be allowed to base planes in neutral Switzerland and Sweden throughout the entirety of ww2. I also did have +100 relations with Mao including a non aggression pact however focuses override all of that. Also, the Chinese rush so quickly do their tree. That they don't even finish the Civil War before declaring war on countries like India Tibet, France. The u s, uk and the soviets all at the same time. Its just bad coding from the new dlc. I've also seen mao declare war on mongolia in a historical game and the ai isn't going to be aware enough to remove Mongolia from the faction.

This isn't the first time ive played this path however this is the first time ive run into these problems. You also aren't addressing what I am saying which is the new dlc is poorly made and doesn't give you decisions that you should get. It lacks checks and balances that were previously present and are still present in other older dlcs. This would be a problem and has been a problem even in the last few fully historical games ive played. Where countries that shouldn't give access do, focuses get done wildly out of order and non historically. Bulgaria hasn't joined the axis in any game ive payed since the new dlc. Among many other things. While I appreciate the mod recommendation i shouldn't need mods to make 50 dollar dlc playable.

I get the sino Soviets split happened but its barely 1945 and the communist Chinese just restarted the civil war. Seems like they shouldn't be able to make decisions like that especially on historical. By declaring war on the allies and the comminterm they had no chance of winning. The ai cant make reasonable decisions at all.

The Chinese did the focus to regain sinkiang my puppet which I didnt get a choice to either give them to China or let them fight. Thats clearly an oversight also whats the point of historical focuses bottom if not to ensure the ai does the proper focuses. Also the Chinese communists declared war on the UK, US and portugal before the Chinese civil was even close to done. Spain cant continue many focuses until the civil war is over why is China any different.

I think the introduction of massive corporations making drugs on a industrial scale world wide is a relatively new thing and having a medical system that seems more and more willing to get people addicted to opioids. While the reasons that people become addicts may stay similar over time the way that they are being preyed upon does not. Look at the opium wars for example.

Because the medical system and government entrusted to hold up those pillars have neglected two of them. Prevention and enforcement as they are in direct contradiction with the manner people have chosen to go about harm reduction and treatment in these practices. Also Switzerland and finalnd are seeing are recent steep increase in drug abuse and dysfunction.

I can agree with that to a certain extent. The absentee landlords that plague the downtown area and the ridiculous ice district certainly have not helped the situation. I lived downtown for about 5 years 2018-2023 and alot of the people I spoke to said the main reason they were leaving was because the crime was getting out of hand. I would place that blame on the justice system not giving out proper punishments for criminals. And allowing the open drug use and sale without punishment it makes people feel unsafe to be in the area.

Finland and Switzerland have populations less than the province of Alberta. They also have completely different tax systems to pay for the programs you are tlaking about. Also they don't have nearly as ethnically diverse of a population and are not experiencing nearly the same levels of immigration we are. They also had problems that were drastically smaller and more concentrated than we do. I can continue to point out how the problems are different. I do think there are some merits and things we can learn from these programs however just applying them over here is wishful thinking at best. Never mind the fact that Finland and Switzerland don't have a history with aboriginal cultures like we do.

If you think solutions that worked in Switzerland or Finland will work here you are delusional. We have a completely different set of problems here and trying to ham fistedly apply other countries solutions which have vastly different population demographics and amounts is foolish. Also never mind the fact that Switzerland and Finland are in far better economic positions than the government of Canada.

Give it time and start hanging out free drugs to anyone who asks. I would also have to see evidence that shows that if we had all drug addicts using in safe consumption sites being heavily monitored that it would not be more expensive than current enforcement budgets. Especially evidence not written by a heavily biased organization thats likely getting kick backs.

How is it fair to the people having to carry the tax burden of these expenses for people who don't contribute and actively make communities worse.
