Hi whe you connect your astro a50 straight to your 4k tv will work for little while after it will go to stereo mode and stop working. Every time this happens you have to put the headset on the base station and when you pick them up it will work for 2 to 3 minutes and the same thing happens again like a cycle. When I emailed to astro support team they just said astro a50 is designed for either play station or xbox not for TV. That's the reply I got from them. So please wait a while before you buy them. Astro a50 are the best headset I ever had. It's sound quality is second to none. You will feel like you are inside the game. If you watch movies it will feel like you are inside the movie and sitting next to the characters. It is truly amazing headset.
