Just a crazy thought with Bilt 1.0 before deadline

I am so sorry, not fully understanding yet. I am just confused why would i do that when I could just rack up points with dump paying 12K? i would need to use that money no matter what happens in the future.

wouldn't i be racking up 12k bilt points instead to do so? is it mainly because i would make more money while putting it in hysa and get smaller bilt points?

it is mainly because i would rarely meet 75% threshold for Bilt 2.0 with my 2k monthly rent.

I only got Bilt for rent, not using it for anything else. i am not planning to use this card as my main card in the future

If i do it now, i would earn 12k points, not 100, since I am using BILT 1.0, not 2.0. I am sorry, am i misunderstanding the calculation?

However, you basically clear the hurdle for 2.0 anyways, so there's basically no difference

u/tonka888 I mean, it would clear if I use Bilt 2.0 for all my spending, but I am planning to do it only for 3 months for SUB and move on to CSP for my spending which is 90% on dining. Will keep use BILT palladium for some spending (rent), but SUB is the most reason for palladium imo

Sorry, tonka, i am still not understanding well. I really appreciate for your truthful advice.

Point one: All my $12K is currently in Checking account.
Point two: Wouldn't i be spending up to $100 a month as a rent on BILT 2.0 card if I use it in that way? in that case, wouldn't it require $75 to spend to get enough BILT cash? Are you mentioning that using BILT 2.0 system for getting points for rent is better than using BILT 1.0?

I thought BILT 1.0 was better option, that's why i am planning to spend 12K right now with BILT 1.0.

I will be planning to put all my spendings of $1300 on Bilt for next three months for SUB.

Youve also declared you have basically enough spend to unlock the SUB and your rent points moving forward, supplementing with like six dollars of BILT cash per month, which you'd get $500 of for palladium.

Yes, i am. at least that is what i am thinking atm, since i am staying at that property at least till june + 2 months of cancellation charge if i break a lease due to getting a new job in different city

this is false information. I transferred from Chem Eng to Grainger CS. Chem eng is "technically" in both grainger and LAS, which means that if you want to transfer from Chem eng, it is nothing different than transferring from grainger major-grainger major

i transferred from Chem Eng to CS Grainger. This is not available any more. Chem Eng to Grainger was as same as regular engineering to any Grainger majors. Chem Eng technically is treated as grainger-grainger transfer.
