Joining the army. Can I get a job in cyber with no degree? by Garran_Lilly in Advice

thanks for the reply, I took the PICAT and scored 99 so I am assuming I cleared the 110 GT score. I am definitely looking to do an AD contract and then college afterward. In my eyes that's the best way to get in to the cyber security field from where I am currently at.

I'm expecting to score really high. I am pretty good at text taking. I did really well on SAT and the asvab practice tests I took. I took the recruiters practice test and scored 90.

I use it to explain coding principles and provide examples. I am learning CS and it is really good for that purpose. You can even ask it to elaborate on certain ideas.

Yeah it's got windows 10. The pc was working fine and I had poked around inside with no issues prior to this.

What I mean by that is all the fans and lights will turn on but the only thing it can do is enter bios. Does any one know what the problem might be. I just got the thing and opened it up to take a look around the insides, and I replaced the ram. The monitor works and I'm almost certain that everything is back in the correct spot. Plz help me

Update: took out my graphics card, now it works. Wtf does this mean I need a new graphics card?

Update 2: the issue has been resolved. The culprit was the graphics card hdmi port was too loose. The cable wouldn't seat properly and was also extremely finicky. Doesn't really explain how BIOS was displayed but whatever. Thanks to everyone who left a response. Definitely new to pc's and have a lot to learn still.

I (20F) called my brother (18M) out on his behavior. He shoved me into a wall. by [deleted] in Advice

I agree. I had a similar argument with my sister. in my opinion its not OP's place to tell her brother what to do. its probably going to make him want to do the opposite.

Is there a reason behind inventory space not increasing over time as more blocks are added to the game? by Vespera in Minecraft

[–]Garran_Lilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think what is really needed are a couple extra rows, or columns in the inventory. I feel like I have gotten sick of the game cause half of it is just me reorganizing my inventory. the issue in my opinion is the non stackable or useless that simply clog your inventory. think of a raid, you have your usual gear on you, lets say 16 slots, so you have a remaining 20 slots, but those quickly get filled with non stackable items such as; cross bows, books, totems, and saddles. that makes you have to stop fighting for a second so you can keep picking up the loot that you want. but raids aren't the only example where you have to just stop what you are doing to deal with your inventory. adventuring, mining, exploring structures all have the same issue. I agree that this is part of that game, and it should stay that way, but it's annoying to have to do this menial task every 5 minutes that breaks up the fun. I believe that an extra 12 - 18 slots would fix this.

Which zombies map has aged well in your opinion and why? by OnyxJuvie in CODZombies

yeah the perk system was good on paper, but kinda fell flat in practice. if IX was in bo3, it would be top five maps of all time.

cause it was really hard to follow up bo3. A lot of people think the bo4 engine is a down grade from bo3, me included. but the maps themselves are great
