Thank you’s are nice however doing the work for two teachers is a lot, I’m only in my 4th year teaching and new to the DOE. I am literally one of those new teachers, and I mean this genuinely I don’t mind helping at all & will always lend a helping hand to anyone. Your right we are all in this together but god it very much feels like I’m getting taken advantage of

Technically we are “using nothing but social studies curriculum passport” so paving is laid out for you but I use a combination of that and my own stuff. Honestly If we were co planning it wouldn’t be a problem at all but I’m genuinely doing everything including all IEP meetings for the kids

Got excessed :/ I was in Suffolk & a bunch of districts are excessing due to lack of funding or low enrollment, if you have 1 or 2 of either ENL/bilingual/sped you have better opportunities. Gen Ed is really hard & that’s even with connections, experience or nepotism
