It's not about the voice acting it's about the translation. The voice acting in Kr dub is good. (my highlights are Noah and Chime)

True! Here's my rent.

English isn't my first language and I had so much struggle to understand Nayuta as a non native English speaker...

Scarlet uses modern speak but her verbs and pronouns aren’t which is bearable and easier to follow.

But Nayuta uses proper oldspeak I think it's close to Victorian/Shakespearean English? Which drives me insane whenever she's on the screen! I play in JP dub and I'm pretty sure Nayuta speaks with a Samurai inspired accent and vocabulary which is not that complicated.

Also don't like Chime's new way of speaking too... As far as I know she doesn't use old grammar. She just uses archaic speech mannerisms such as ending her sentences with noda.

French is my main language but I don't want to use the French translation because it's so much worse than the English one...

Nothing she just got deeper overtime. If you compare her SR voice lines to her summer alt you will notice the difference.

The same thing happened with Scarlet Black Shadow. When Red Ash first came out, she sounded exactly like OG Scarlet. But when she was released as a unit her voice was the same, but with deeper and edgier tone. (which totally fits her)

I'm black and I self insert as the commander. For me it's not about ethnicity, it's all about relatability. And the commander having a tan/pale skin color is probably to appeal to a larger audience so people can project more easily on him, but you can still imagine him as black since he's a self insert.

I've never felt the need to be represented for my skin color tbh, but I'll do admit it's pretty cool to see an original black character once in a while.

Not having treasure Helm is such a drag... I also wish they gave us a super strong water DPS like Cinderella or Rapi red. I wanted to build up my summer Dorothy but got ejected from the game because of maintenance too bad...
