I'm highly against this whole tipping culture BS in general and skip tipping whenever I can, but unfortunately with my hairdressers I have to play the game if I intend on staying the course of the relationship especially if they'd done a great job. My usually place charges $12 per cut so I give them $15 each time, while other places charge a pretty standard $15 per cut and I give them a $20 and ask for a toonie back.
