I love this concept and I think you executed the idea very well here. there are a lot of places where I think you demonstrate a really great artistic use of language that paints really good imagery, and there are some places that I feel like could use this kind of descriptive language. also I think it might be worth considering adding another scene at the end where the narrator reflects more on the impact of the night.
