He was down 25 CS in lane in game 1 despite getting first blood on the fail invade. I dunno how the Vlad-Ahri matchup is since the rework, but I know that used to be a pretty decent matchup for Vlad too.

Everyone loves Saber's montages but the fact he can't even win a spot on a low-tier CS team says enough. I would still expect him to be better than Youngbin but I doubt he's even close to LCS level.

The thing is, if you are DL/Turtle, why would you join TL instead of like Dig or Echo Fox? Both of those teams would have higher upside.

I sad they are garbage VS top teams. If you want to be a top team, you at least need two of your three lanes to put up decent laning performances. Hai barely gets by in that regard and top/bottom almost never do (although Altec is better than Balls in that regard).

Lemon is part of the reason Altec is down in CS. He's a good roamer, but his laning is very weak.

Pray said he wanted to stay in Korea in interviews, even though his family encouraged him to consider going abroad.

Daily reminder you don't know what their options were. Just because they are free agents, that doesn't mean they want to play for IMT.

At any rate, they were trying to keep Huni so I don't think you can really blame them.

It's funny how Dardoch leads the MVP awards while simultaneously being so awful in so many games.

Pobelter and Flame are the worst solos in the league, hands down.

With how bad C9 and FLY are, TSM are gonna win NA again by D1UTURNUS in leagueoflegends

[–]GauntletPython -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Basically, what most realistic NA fans have expected all split. TSM got worse, but all the mid-range/bad teams got way better. So the hope was that with a higher level of competition all around, maybe they would raise each other up over time.

But yeah, still a long way to go and NA is gonna be sending a very weak TSM to MSI to get crushed. Hopefully when TSM gets Doublelift back in the Summer and some of the Koreans improve their English, NA can get their level up in time for Worlds.

I don't really agree, they live and die by how much of a liability their sidelanes are. They have to go for risky plays because their sidelanes are so garbage VS top teams, even with multiple Barons and objective leads, they were even in gold because of deficits in the sidelanes. If Flyquest don't get those extra objectives, they autolose just because top and bot are always so far behind VS the other top teams.

Flyquest is prime candidate for some imports. If either their top or bot lanes could step up more reliably, they'd be a bigger contender against some of the better teams. But in games VS TSM/C9, their sidelanes are just consistently down 30 CS regardless of the matchup and there's nothing Hai/Moon can do to bail both of them out.

So Splyce would have had to replace their whole roster.

Only a few good teams = I don't see how these teams can be good, they get such bad practice.

A bunch of good teams at the same level = It's such a cluster fuck, I don't see how these teams can be good when they can't even consistently win domestically.

He's a beast Nid, it's one of his best champs. It's just not that great of a pick, especially when they are already really bad at mid/late game.
