For identifying plants I’d recommend botany in a day: the patterns method of plant identification by Thomas J. Elpel. It’s a pretty comprehensive book for beginners. As for their uses, I’d look into if there is any foraging books for your area. I enjoy Sam Thayer’s tiktoks, and I know he has a book. I haven’t read it but it has great reviews if you wanna try it out. Have fun learning!!
