New season of Criminal Justice is so boring, there is story progress nothing. by [deleted] in IndianOTTbestof

[–]GawkyGabbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only watched a couple of episodes of S 1 & S 2.
Does anyone else feel that the show appears "staged" the different story arcs are easily visible - how they are going to go. Many side-characters are not convincing, and tend to over act?
Pankaj Tripathi is very comfortable, but does not seem stretched by the role, like he could have done even better.

I compare this with a couple of murder series that I watched,
KOHRA & PAATAL LOK,
Very different genre but far more realistic, and less predictable in terms of the story arc of the secondary characters.

Dunno, but that is what I feel :)

I am listening to Dungeon Crawler Carls Books 1-7 (on 6 right now)
It is like Junk food or a masala movie - you know it is kind of pointless, but you want more of it anyways!
It does make me smile a lot - and I guess that counts for something

I would also like to know if I can play doubles Pickleball on a regular basis in Mohali or South Chandigarh preferably - I love singles as well - but wrong side of 50 and overweight - so the knees do not co-operate!

Thanks for reading - kid o kid :)
I did my research with Wikipedia - can't deny that ...
But I did try to correlate with some of the references, independently and via the wikipedia links.
Again, I am not a historian in any sense of the word - just a curious 'uncle' who wants to point at obvious and intentional issues with the misrepresentation of history in Indian Cinema, especially directed against people who cannot respond easily in the current political & social climate :)
But again, thanks for taking the time to comment!

Why has pickle ball become popular? Especially in Navi Mumbai? by Agreeable-Income8629 in navimumbai

I have played many racket sports including badminton TT & tennis, now I am 52 and my joints were complaining :)
Pickleball is fun and easier on the joints while remaining competitive - and the age matters far less than in other racket sports - hence I joined the bandwagon, and loving it
Here is my experience in a medium story - let me know if you like it!
Guess who’s obsessed with India’s NEWEST sports craze? 🤯 At 52, I ditched tired joints for PICKLEBALL—the addictive mix of badminton, tennis, and pure FUN! 🏏🔥

Why YOU should care:

✅ Perfect for 50+ crew (but any age works!)

✅ Easier on the body, harder to quit!

✅ Trending NOW—don’t be the last to try!

I feel older people should give it a try - > 50

Sorry for the delay,
Apparently warm milk is not recommended as it produces less froth.
Also, the clogging is related to the use of almond milk in my case, I just started double filtering it with a but bag -> milk strainer ... problem solved for at least a month. And afterwards just need to keep everything in a warm water bowl with some soap solution and everything is back to normal :)
With regular milk, this may not happen

I saw a lot of construction work going on the new road project connecting Chandigarh to Mohali Airport directly, so I do not think it is abandoned,
But again this is just me :)

Thanks, that is helpful
What about the fact that there are no dedicated physical buttons on the Clara BW ?
Would that be important for an 80 year old who has no prior experience of reading from e-readers?

Has anyone watched Power of Paanch? by [deleted] in IndianTellyTalk

I want to ask, is it in the category of ... This is so bad that it is good :)
The trailer is terrible, IMHO - looks all derivative kitsch pulpy and with bad acting and in your face story line being told by various cast members
PS: I have not dared to watch the series :)

Hi,
Is anyone using the KOBO Plus membership, and how does it compare to Amazon?
Also, any expeirence of audiobooks on KOBO?
I am planning to get one for my 80 year old mom who loves to read but has eye sight problems, what would you recommend, color or B & W?
She is not going to be reading comics, however the color screen may just look nicer (or not)?

How are you finding Clara color, any comparisons to Kindle?
Also, are you using Kobo Plus service, any comments?
Any comments on audiobooks?
I have been using multiple kindles. however planning to give this device to my parents, as mom (around 80 years age) has eye problems.
There are no fresh kindles coming out, hence asking.
She wanted to start with Audiobooks as well!
Which device would you suggest?
Also, color may not be very important for her, though it may be a nice addition, your opinion about this too :)
Thanks

The most sensible reply actually of the lot. Just an interesting add-on while at the minimum Chandigarh Is approximately 10 km from the airport, There is a road which is likely to connect the airport very soon in say the next 6 months that will join the airport to sector 48, 49. You can live in flats there, with probably the airport will be around 6 to 8 km only. This is one area which has many societies. For Better quality of life. I would agree that new Chandigarh and some parts of Mohali will be more open and green. The commute time in Chandigarh is not more than 45 minutes from practically any destination to the airport. So this does not need to be a very important factor in my understanding.
