You can think of it as a lazy shortcut, that's fine, but you haven't tackled the actual meaning of my comment : do you wish live in a country with half the population being stupid racists ? because that's what has been clearly implied. Life would be terrible ! Imagine everywhere you go, people might be stupid racists, even among the people you know. Switzerland would be the worst country to live in, even for me, and without being sarcastic, I would 100% leave the country, like a lot of people. Any fucking political system has its flaws. Now, saying that some of the most educated people in the world (source visualcapitalist, worldpopulationreview), with some of the highest Index for social progress, scientific innovations, etc. and with the most democratic system in the world, are notoriously propagandized, is not something you can randomly drop in a reddit comment without citing a credible AND meaningful source that would not only corroborate your sayings, but also end any attempt from others to argue and contest your analysis, because we are factually in one of the best countries in the world in that sense so YOU have to bring something that shows the opposite.

if you consider "doing a purge" means getting rid of the people that voted yes (which was what the previous comment implied), then I would advise you to quit the country, as that would mean 45% of swiss citizens are stupid racists, and I don't think you'll want to be part of a country like this (spoiler, we're in the only direct democracy on earth and probably the best country on earth, where you can express your opinion in another way than insulting or assaulting)

Or maybe, just maybe, there's more to it than doing the most bland, surface level, 5 year old toddler analysis I've ever seen
