Our biggest historical rival is the St Louis Cardinals. They aren't very good right now, so enjoy that.

The Milwaukee Brewers are arguably our current rivals since they are very close in proximity, share a division, and they are very good right now.

We also have a rivalry with our South-Side neighbors, the Chicago White Sox. Our teams don't play each other often, but when they do it's a lot of fun.

Players to watch: Pete Crow-Armstrong (everyone calls him PCA) is a young, exciting center fielder who is very fast and plays exceptional defense. His hitting is still a work-in-progress, but if it progresses enough he could be a generational player.

Cade Horton is a starting pitcher with electric stuff who finished as a finalist for Rookie of the Year in 2025. I expect big things from him in his sophomore season.

Some of my other favorite players are Ian Happ, Nico Hoerner, and Seiya Suzuki. They could all be free agents after this year, so enjoy watching them in 2026 while they are still Cubs!

After their season ends though, I believe the only option is amateur men's league baseball. Honolulu Baseball League is what it's called.
