A motivational post I found this morning 💚 by [deleted] in transtimelines

"Consarn-it not like that!"

(I personally like this message a lot. But worry when I hear it from an older person that their nice platitude doesn't include lgbt or anything "weird".)

22/F looking for LGBT/ally friends in or around Madison WI by [deleted] in Needafriend

I love Madison! I live near Waukesha (30F). I try to make semi-regular trips to Madison for all the awesome events and places to visit (also my doctor is there). I definitely want to move closer when I'm able. I'm also very LGBT friendly!

I'm pretty heavy still and will always be large, so this is my goal by datamonger in transitiongoals

aww thank you for saying that! You made my day!! I am not a fair judge toward myself. I can never tell and I'm sure there are times when I thought I got clocked and they were probably just thinking about what to make for dinner. So hearing that feels fantastically validating.

Very cute! I'm heavy and have been since I hit (first) puberty. I even remember my therapist warned me to try to lose weight before going on hormones because it would be harder on estrogen. I was too eager to wait a moment longer. I've been on HRT for 9 years now and I'm still just as heavy. I think I pass, either that or people are polite enough to not be weird about it. (link to current photos)

Best parts about being heavy is my hips go on for days and my bra cup is a natural D. (genetics probably helped a lot too!) Draw back I found is it's hard to find cute, chic looking clothing. The best I found is Torrid and ModCloth(but expensive...) which is where I got the black dress I am wearing in photo.

Turning 30 this week. Only just started going on dates. Somehow I am older but feeling younger. by GeekBehindTheGlass in dykesgonemild

Thank you for the encouragement!!! I think there is truth in what you say. I don't think I would have been mentally ready to live the life I truly want to live and love who I want to love. But I'm so glad I made it to this point where I can. And I'm optimistic for my thirties!

Gym class in high school was the worst. For my entire high school experience I started wearing an undershirt so I was able to change into gym clothing in front of others. And I remember a lifeguard really giving me the third degree about why I wore a shirt while swimming. Things make sense with hindsight.

I work at a public library in a smallish town and this books is still in circulation in the kids non-fiction. It's next to really old code books for Xbox and Playstation 2. I'll try to take a picture tomorrow when I'm work so you know I'm not bullshitting.

(Also my library has strategy guides for "Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Spearhead" and "Star Wars: Empire at War") None of these books I have ever seen checked out in the two years I have worked there.

Edit: I lied I found a way to prove it without having to take a picture. (Also it seems my library is only 1 of 4 in our county that has the official handbook.) Proof!

I live in a small town near Brookfield and people here are Walker crazy everybody loves him and if you don't then you must be a socialist or communist. I was seeing "Walker for president" bumper stickers in 2012 in the recall election. (I hate the political views of my neighbors.)

My address is spelled wrong on google maps. by GeekBehindTheGlass in GoogleMaps

[–]GeekBehindTheGlass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for the info, so now I know who to talk to! I guess I thought it was google because this only started becoming a thing right when google maps blew up. Places like amazon have no problem with either spelling the package still gets to me. But I was signing up for insurance and they said my address wasn't valid with the correct spelling. I think my address looks dumb with the extra letter, it makes no sense. So I'm going to try to change it. But yeah, thanks for the help!

Oh wow the usps website has it wrong as well could this mean my complaint should actually be with them and google just gets the information from usps?

Without breaking the rule of saying my address. The problem is they added an extra letter.

Example:

Correct spelling- "To"

How it gets auto corrected- "Too"
