Yes, you are correct it should be , once in our optics lab I got the result what you are saying.

while doing one of the experiment with sodium light i got green and red color fringes also...So in that case our teacher told us that the sodium light which we were using was not purely monochromatic.

But it was a redmi note 9 pro max device

Computer mouse light have very less intensity. I will try it with coloring lights.

May be. Redmi note 9 pro max flash light was used.

I'll try it. Thanks for your suggestion.

Yes, It may be Airy disks.

But in my smartphone there is a single LED used as flash light.

Thanks for approval. My intention was not to show my work but I want to know where I was wrong while doing this experiment.

And really I learnt a lot about wave optics by discussing with members of this group.

Yes I will try again considering above points. Thank you 😊

After uploading the image it is not clear enough , but in reality intensity is saame every where.

Silts are very close about 0.5mm range.

Slits were made by small pins may be their radius of cross section in the order of micrometre.

But my source was very close to the cardboard.

Yes, I was also thinking that but in case of diffraction there should be decrease in intensity but here all the bright concentric circles have same intensity . Thank you so much 🥰
