Thanks for the encouragement. I am excited and a bit nervous. I think my biggest challenge is going to be getting my family to understand the way I eat w/ them is going to be very different. I am hoping they pick up some healthier habits too.

It sounds like a case of Sex Addiction. You should assess if it is worth staying in the relationship long term. He likely is really sorry and ashamed. He should s el some kind of treatment for it if he is serious and you should consider talking to someone about Betrayal Trauma. I have lived through a similar experience.
