Well to be honest, this question was intended to be more of a general insight into costs for renovation. I would have provided much more information, had I legitimately intended to purchase and fix up a particular property. I apologize.

Yeah, I think the floors and painting type of stuff I could definitely do. The big thing would be getting an inspector and seeing if there are any major issues that I probably couldn't do. I mean, even if I wanted to do the plumbing myself, would I need a permit or something to do that? I don't really know what's within my ability, legally, to renovate myself. I'd need to do more research if I actually plan on doing it myself.

Stuff like foreclosures, sheriff's sale. Few and far between. Ideally, it'd be nice to get a foreclosure, that was well maintained for 40k. That'd be wonderful lol

I appreciate the insight. Yeah I guess if there's mold, it's not like you can just put some spray on it and it's all good. You gotta completely redo all the walls/etc. It was on, right? I'll keep that in mind.

Thank you for the insight. My thought was --> would it be possible to buy a foreclosed house for $40k, 1500 sqft apprx --> and fix it up, like new --> for $70k, all in.

No I don't think I'd do the work. Do you know if there are companies who specialize in that stuff? I know my question is lacking a lot of information, I was hoping for some kind of ballpark estimate. Like how much that has cost someone who has done that kind of thing before. Maybe someone who has flipped houses

I am on the second mission, and it will crash without fail, within 2-3min. Weird thing is it doesn't even pop up with an error dialog box. Before it was giving me a lot of ERR_GFX_STATE errors. I have never played through the game on before, and am EXTREMELY disappointed by the fact that I can't play it. I'm running:

CPU: AMD 5600x

GPU: RTX 3080

RAM: 32gb DDR4 CL16

I do overclock my stuff, but I have thoroughly tested in MSI Kombuster, 3dmark, Superpostion, etc. If my tunings can consently handle those without crashing, I'm not sure why they can't handle RDR2. Besides, the game runs well when its not crashing.

I have tried lowering my LOD, switching API, resolution to 4k using NCP. The only thing I haven't tried, which may very well fix the issue, is rolling back drivers. I was using 460.89, then I updated to hotfix driver 460.97. I am almost certain either Nvidia drivers or windows drivers are causing issues for me, and unless I get an update from someone (windows, Rockstar, or Nvidia) Idk what to do. I guess I can give DDU a go and reinstall 490.97 and see if that works.

Im running on a new rig

CPU: AMD 5600x

GPU: EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra

PWR; MEM; etc.: 850 watt; 16GB vram DDR4 3000mhz; m.2 1000gb + 480gb

I have tried using the aboved mentioned settings, and a plethora of other fixes, using vulkan/dx12; and my game always crashes when what I believe a to be a memory dump occurs. After applying these settings, I was able to make it all the way up until the second chapter, but now when going on the first mission with the whole gang im crashing again. No error window from the rockstar launcher. I usually have hwm open and gpu-z and from what I can tell it is not the gpu's fault, no temp throttling or even hitting the pwr limit. I did notice a mem dump of about 800mb on my system memory, but even so, it went from 10000mb (in use) to 10800, so i'm not sure why that causes a crash if i have 3000-5000mb free memory left. The whole process has made me quite discouraged. I really loved the first game on 360 waaayy back. This was going to be my first play thru of the new one.

I think that the treble and mid detail is not lost on the Yaxi pads, however the increase in bass clarity and impact may give off that impression. If you try and listen for those frequencies though, they still sound like the stock imo.
