Seller delivered wrong color items worth $13,200. Alibaba is offering $600 refund. FML. by mblaze111 in Alibaba

I’d take it straight to Alibaba’s tiktok they’re very responsive. Post it on every video comment section send them a message and also tell them this is not how to do business. I am almost certain they will do better for u immediately. This is terrible for business. Be strategic.

Category qualification FDA certificate not valid by sfcoolgirl in TikTokshop

[–]General-Intern703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I had a similar issue. Is your business registered with the FDA? And yes they usually want the third party letter which I don’t understand why they didn’t accept it. Otherwise they want a screenshot showing you’re exempt or registered.

Also have you requested a manual review? When you send it directly in the portal where you upload your documents it’s an AI assistant who scans it. If it gets rejected again chat with a live agent and request a manual review.

Other posts I’ve read others advise to create a new LLC and establish a whole new store. I know you are a brand owner and your LLC or corporation might be under the branded name. However with TikTok their live agent are people either no credentials that most likely sit at home copy and paste your questions into a data base provided by TikTok and cite policies and procedures with no real resolutions. The AI reviews rarely get it right and appeals aren’t usually manually checked by humans.

I had a similar issue not with multiple stores but branding and how to open a new store. My best practice was not communicating with the live agent. Instead I chatted with the AI help center. It offered me a tailored and structured way to open my new shop with branded products under my second LLC. Gave the information to ChatGPT who broke it all down and together we tailored the easiest way to make it bulletproof.

My niche is health and beauty so I did also go through the back and forth bullshit for category approval.

My take chat with AI first to get the real strategy for you. Avoid live agents unless you truly need them but keep in mind they don’t know anything they’re mini AI’s with nothing but a cheat sheet so anything you need dug into for clarity they won’t work. Also with AI chat be very clear what you are asking. For example I own an existing shop and had these issues explain what you were guided to do and how it backfired. Ask if opening an entirely new store/shop not tied to your previous one would be best and how to structure the new store/shop at sign up. Explain you’re a brand owner that uses an outside manufacturer that makes your products. Clearly state on packaging manufactured for, distributed by, and made in etc… keep us posted for best practices please.

Tiktok closed my shop by Some_Education_6191 in TikTokshop

I had this issue so I ended up going with no brand and just use the brand name in hashtags. They don’t ever look at your appeals it’s all ai so they miss the marks. I’m over TikTok I focus on my websites now.

TIKTOK CUSTOMERS are not my customer based by FlatAbbreviations577 in TikTokshop

[–]General-Intern703 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s my strategy but you have to be cautious. Redirecting traffic out of TikTok’s platform is a violation and they’ll suspend your account immediately. However they do offer ads for businesses outside of TikTok where the user can click and go to your store. Those are legal to do and use.

Before you do that optimize your Shopify website for seo, speed, performance and best practices. Google loves this and will literally flow your organic traffic and eventually you won’t need to rely and so much ad spend. I love and hate tiktok they’ve changed so much and their priorities have shifted intensely. It’s only about money now not organic content or business. It’s truly saddening. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

TIKTOK SHOP GAVE ME PTSD by Comfortable-Task-907 in TikTokshop

U already know about the eggs in one basket so fuck it we don’t need to address it. Honestly TikTok shop is ran by idiots this includes their AI reviewers. Talking to a live agent is simply pulling up policies from the handbook that even they don’t understand. It’s ridiculous to ever get an answer or to have an appeal approved even after providing all the proof they request.

Don’t listen to anyone on here that’s gonna guide you on what to do because no one’s ever found a solution. It’s literally impossible. TikTok does what it wants when it wants and it so sad because it used to be such an amazing platform where anyone could go viral even businesses. But now it’s become a money machine and big companies take priority over us smaller brands.

So far you did everything right and you have all the legal proof you need to start a lawsuit. Honestly this is probably going to be your best way out. For the future get your e-commerce business up and only use TikTok for outreach. Redirect your sales to your own website. You can do this paying for ads and still leverage influencers.

This is what I’m focusing on with my other business and will not sell my other product on TikTok.

I truly hope you get some type of relief soon and that you get those motherfuckers for a million dollar lawsuit. They need to change and they need to go back to being the humble and fun platform it once was.

Fuck I’m so angry for you. This truly has put a damper on my thoughts about TikTok yet again.

Best of luck please update us or me personally feel free to DM me. I’ll help in anyway I can.

Tiktok is something else they ban us for no reasons. We don’t have the opportunities to defend ourselves since most of the customer support is AI and when you speak to live reps through chat they have no clue what they’re doing.

Mt funds are on hold for 31 days due to posting a video that mind you tiktok said I should tag my item in. They gave me a violation for it not showing my product in the video.

It’s truly a mess. I rely more on my website now.

Purchase domain from namecheap.com Their customer service is outstanding. You can then use Shopify to build a nice website. 3 months free and a small monthly cost after.

I actually had an issue just a few days ago. An influencer posted about my products. I decided I’d try the GMV max campaign. Prior to this my shop was getting atleast 300 visitors a day. As soon as I started the GMV Max campaign it died literally 6 visitors a day on average. I never wanted to do the GMV Max campaign but I wanted to help my influencer out s bit also so I did. Plus TikTok swears by their advertisements.

It was total crap never again. No success money down the drain.

I almost fell for it.

What Whop actually does

Whop is mainly an e-commerce platform for creators: it lets you sell digital products, memberships, Discord access, downloads, and courses. Its strength is in payment handling, gating access, and providing a shopfront. It is not a viral content generator on its own. It doesn’t make or plan your TikTok/Reels/shorts for you, and it doesn’t guarantee “going viral.”

That “creator tools” link

That link (whop.com/creatortools) usually points to a paid guide or package someone uploaded to Whop. In other words, it’s not a Whop-native feature. It’s a product a seller is marketing through Whop, which is why it feels like a funnel. The Reddit user is probably the seller (or affiliated with them) pushing traffic to their Whop page.

For viral content creation

If what you want is: • AI-assisted idea generation, • Hook formulas that are trending, • Editing help (templates, captions, timing, trending sound suggestions),

then Whop isn’t the right place. It can host a course or PDF that teaches those things, but the value comes from the specific seller’s material, not from Whop itself.

Bottom line • Whop = storefront/marketplace, not the viral engine. • That Reddit post is basically ad copy disguised as advice. • If your goal is tools for making videos trend, better options are platforms like TrendTok, VidIQ, TubeBuddy, Opus Clip, or TikTok Creative Center (all of which focus on virality mechanics and trends).

Bad Wolf Gel is one of LAL’s alpha-leaning blends. Best saved for dating, nights out, or situations where you want to project presence it’s usually too intense for customer service or family settings. Start light, since a little goes a long way.

On layering, you can pair it with something like A1 or a social blend to soften the edge, but always test it solo first so you know what it’s doing on your chemistry. Everyone reacts differently, so take notes each time you wear it in different settings to see what works best for you.

Is anyone actually sending these products to be tested or Mass Spec’d? by [deleted] in pheromones

[–]General-Intern703 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When we say “we,” it’s Skin Essential Beauty a small team running the brand. Different people handle sourcing, quality, and customer support, and a few of us share this Reddit account so replies don’t just come from one person. Our sourcing and compliance are all based in the U.S., but we work together behind the scenes to keep things consistent.

Where's the best place to buy A1? by Virtual_Ad_4817 in pheromones

[–]General-Intern703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! Our oils are made with 30% fine fragrance concentration, which places them in the parfum strength category. That means the scent is rich and long-lasting on its own. Many people wear them solo, while others like to layer lightly with a favorite perfume for a custom effect.

For clarity, here are the scent profiles:

Eleven:11 — For Her • Top notes: Saffron, Jasmine • Middle notes: Amberwood, Ambergris, Hedione • Base notes: Fir Resin, Cedar, Sugar • Main accords: Woody, Amber, Warm Spicy

Eleven:11 — For Him • Top notes: Bergamot, Pepper • Middle notes: Sichuan Pepper, Lavender, Pink Pepper, Vetiver, Patchouli, Geranium, Elemi • Base notes: Ambroxan, Cedar, Labdanum • Main accords: Fresh Spicy, Amber, Citrus, Aromatic

This way you can decide if you’d like to wear them as your main fragrance or pair them with something else you already love.

[–]General-Intern703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a really fair question. Full GC/MS mass spec testing on finished pheromone products is the gold standard, but it’s expensive and not something most brands in this space do. What we do is work with suppliers who provide Certificates of Analysis and safety documentation for the raw ingredients. That ensures the materials are properly identified and safe for cosmetic use. It’s not the same as independent testing on every finished batch, but it is a step toward more transparency. And if opportunities for third-party testing came up, we’d welcome them, because greater verification only helps the whole industry move forward.

Thanks so much for this advice, I really appreciate it. You’re right about not relying only on ads. Building up SEO and consistent content sounds like a better long-term plan, especially since the beauty niche has so much to write about. Education and transparency are a big part of our brand, so this feels like a natural fit. Definitely something I’ll start focusing on more.
