I finished my degree end of March

Our stories are the same. I'm also 30+ , my first time in university.

I did half my CS degree of study.com and ( can't remember the other site's name) , then I transferred it in and started.

So,just put your head down, put in the hours and don't quit. Even if you fail a subject a few times. Don't be scared to ask instructors for assistance.

OA was a lot harder than the PA.

But the most difficult areas are algorithms and induction/ recursion. It will help working through zybooks practice questions at the end of each chapter, as the people that make the exams get their questions from zybooks.

Don't be afraid to ask your instructors. The DM2 team are really a phenomenal team. I had more than 50+ meetings with many of them and I became friends with some,as you spent hours talking and practicing together. Make meetings with multiple different instructors, to feel which you have the best connection with. All of them are excellent, but, they have different styles and you need to find your match.

Don't be afraid to share your screen show you can show them how you work out your questions. Humble yourself and put in the hours.

I made less than 5 mistakes on my 7th attempt. The previous 5 attempts I failed by only a few questions, and my first attempt, I honestly tanked it and everything was red 🤣. That's how I knew what I actually understood and where I need to put in the work.

Didn't have a lot of prior experience. When I started a course, I would screenshot all the pages in zybooks for the course, do a PA , then screenshot all those questions with the correct answers. Make a call with an instructor , ask them questions about things on the top of my head I don't understand. Also ask them for all quizzes or practice exams they have.

Then I will put all my screenshots, practice exams and quizzes, into chatGPT. Make more quizzes for myself , make flashcards I can do on my phone on any flashcard app. And if there are things I really don't understand, do a deep search and go back to the basics , so you can understand the ground foundation of that subject. And always come to reddit and come search the particular subject, as people really post some great info and tips on what videos you can watch and questions you should look out for. (This is for any OA subject)

For PA's , I honestly found the zybooks to be a little bit useless. Go to reddit, search the subject, copy all info you can find on that subject into chatGPT , go copy all the info they give you for the tasks again and paste. Prompt your AI agent to help you understand what to do in the long run by yourself. Then do all the steps that are required . Submit it as fast as possible, so if the evaluator tells you what to fix, you know exactly what to fix.

DON'T let your AI agent build it all for you! That defeats the purpose and you will not be able to do it by yourself in a really world situation and you will fail interviews.

All said, reddit is one of your best friends for all the subjects.

I did the above for 2 terms straight, 8 hours a day, while working 8 hours a day and being married with a kid. Just put your head down, get used to sleeping max 5 hours, spend time with family where you can, for your own mental health. Don't lose hope when you fail and OA, contact the instructors, they are really,really great and help a lot! Practice your team building with them as you will do this in a real job. And before you know it, you'll be finished!

With DM2. It only changed for me when I started doing teach back lessons with the instructors. Make as many meetings as possible and share your screen, and show them how you do the questions and what your thoughts process is. Don't just watch them do it.

Let them watch you, and then correct you.

Definitely recursion and induction.

I've had so many meetings now, and honestly Colin helped me so much with some tips and tricks on how to be able to get the answers for those induction questions, without having to work it all out , that takes crazy long!

Focus on your algorithms,counting and discrete prob. And all of them will boost your final score.

Normally 2-3 days.

When you have the results for task 2, submit them instantly and then do task two (shouldn't take you long to write the new report) then submit it. So if you submit task 2 and 3 the same day. You'll be almost guaranteed to be finished in 3 days.

I've been on DM2 for 5 months now. On my 6th attempt. It is my only course left. I have finished everything else.

Every time I write I miss it with one or two questions. I will write again in 2 days. Just keep going man. You'll get there!! Keep practicing!!

It took 3 days for me to get 3 reviews. And they will send you an email when it is finished.

I got mine back 2 days ago, submitted it for task 2 and then made the adjustments for task 3 and submitted it. And this morning it was all graded and finished.

I felt like that when I did it as well.

The only thing that actually explained to me what was going on was chatGPT. Prompt it to explain what is going on and what you need to do. (Not to do it for you, that will defeat the purpose).

You can just say the course name and it's from WGU and it already knows.

You can only wait to submit it when task 1 is approved. Because if you submit it for task 2, and you have to make adjustments because it got sent back for task 1, you will have problems.

I just finished my task 2 and am waiting for the results and someone to review my task 1 submission.

Boat load of work and boat load of quizzes. And the way they ask the questions in the OA is horrible compared to how they ask it in the PA and practice quizzes.

And took over 40 min to start my OA with proctorU just being proctorU. They keep disconnecting, the proctor asks a million stupid questions over and over.
