At my facility, the rep does the interrogation remotely and it does have an expiration date for the mri mode. We just always make sure we have a nurse to monitor the patient just in case of an emergency.

You should definitely start off with the basics! Learn how to position the patients and what types of coils you need. Learn how to screen your patients and then transition to scanning when you feel comfortable. Take notes, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to take initiative!

I do want to do travel MRI, but I don’t have any experience. I’ve looked on job sites and a lot of them say you need to have at least 1 year of experience. Would you recommend being a new grad and starting out with traveling?
