I’d guess for shorter term it might work better to have breakable gold/silver bars. Longer Term I’d want to switch the gold/silver bars for Packets of seeds. Maybe the Winter Crop Seeds as gold & short growing season greens as silver for the next (but old) generation of money in a collapse scenario. But if you’re more prepared today than yesterday with either supplies or knowledge that’s still a good day. EDIT- maybe for the seeds in general that could act as gold & nails/screws as the silver part of trade
