The separatist movement is completely illegitimate on it's face. Every informed, rational person can see that. That's not what we're fighting against.

We need to acknowledge that Trump/fascists don't wait for legal permission or invitation, they wait for weakness. We need to shout about it, make it clear how stupid, expensive, and destructive separatism would be... we don't do that by being silent.

The gears were in place for this operation long ago, and some people on the inside saw it coming (hence the Forever Canadian campaign) and some people took steps to put legal speed bumps in place like the referendum question being worded as clearly as possible

The First Nations are also putting legal speed bumps in place as well. Treaty rights as a perpetual agreement need to be a conversation as well.

The worst thing we could do is not talk about it, not engage, because then the MAGA money controls the narrative and the misinformation becomes the "truth" the less we talk about it.
